Let's take a trip back to the year of 1996...INTO THE PAST!
On a very special day in October of 1996, a wonderful baby was born.
She grew just as any other baby would, with all the attention she could possibly have. :]
First-When she was just a little over 3 years old, she got caught off-guard with shocking news. Her 63 year old grandmother(MOM'S SIDE) had passed away with cancer. The whole family was devastated. Especially her grandad, he had a really hard time with this.
Second- While everyone was still grieving, they got more disappointing news, her uncle got diagnosed with cancer. So, then, they had to deal with the death of her grandmother and the news about her uncle.When they thought things couldn't get worse, her uncle passed away shortly after he got diagnosed.
Third- About 3 or 4 years later, everyone was doing better and the grieving process was wearing off. Then, this girl got more disturbing news, her one and only great grandmother(DAD'S SIDE) passed away. It wasn't cancer or anything though, just old age.
Forth- Her grandfather(MOM'S SIDE) passed away of old age. He was 82! But, if he had lived any longer he wouldn't be doing well so, it was a blessing in a way.
Fifth- Her grandfather(DAD'S SIDE) got diagnosed with PSP, a horrible disease that messes up the brain. About 2 or more long, exhausting years with his abilities going down the tube, he passed away, with a blessing in disguise.
Sixth- Her other uncle(MOM'S SIDE) that this girl hasn't seen in 2 1/2 years, recently got diagnosed with melanoma, an easy-to-cure cancer. She just hopes it's easy-to-cure this time.
Seventh- Her dad got in a reck with his brand new, company car. He is okay though. :]
This girl we've been talking about is me, Abby.
Just know that these are the reasons why I have been so busy. I wanted to share this with you to give you all some of my perspective.
