My Life Story

Let's take a trip back to the year of 1996...INTO THE PAST!



On a very special day in October of 1996, a wonderful baby was born.



She grew just as any other baby would, with all the attention she could possibly have. :]



First-When she was just a little over 3 years old, she got caught off-guard with shocking news. Her 63 year old grandmother(MOM'S SIDE) had passed away with cancer. The whole family was devastated. Especially her grandad, he had a really hard time with this.

Second- While everyone was still grieving, they got more disappointing news, her uncle got diagnosed with cancer. So, then, they had to deal with the death of her grandmother and the news about her uncle.When they thought things couldn't get worse, her uncle passed away shortly after he got diagnosed.

Third- About 3 or 4 years later, everyone was doing better and the grieving process was wearing off. Then, this girl got more disturbing news, her one and only great grandmother(DAD'S SIDE) passed away. It wasn't cancer or anything though, just old age.

Forth- Her grandfather(MOM'S SIDE) passed away of old age. He was 82! But, if he had lived any longer he wouldn't be doing well so, it was a blessing in a way.

Fifth- Her grandfather(DAD'S SIDE) got diagnosed with PSP, a horrible disease that messes up the brain. About 2 or more long, exhausting years with his abilities going down the tube, he passed away, with a blessing in disguise.

Sixth- Her other uncle(MOM'S SIDE) that this girl hasn't seen in 2 1/2 years, recently got diagnosed with melanoma, an easy-to-cure cancer. She just hopes it's easy-to-cure this time.

Seventh- Her dad got in a reck with his brand new, company car. He is okay though. :]


This girl we've been talking about is me, Abby.

Just know that these are the reasons why I have been so busy. I wanted to share this with you to give you all some of my perspective.

New Bedroom Furniture!

Omg! I got BRAND NEW furniture! I really needed it though! We had my other furtiture for about 14 years! So here is my new furniture...TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!

Today is my birthday!!! I am turning 12! It is kinda sad because today I am in North Carolina, and tomorrow, I have to go to South Carolina for my grandpa's funeral. :( But, he's not having an open-casket ceremony, he's getting cremated. So, today, we can't celebrate my birthday on my acual birthday. :( The GOOD news it that I have Monday off from school! Hopefully I have a BETTER weekend than expected!

Today while I was sleeping at about 8:40am, my mom informed me that my grandpa passed away, my dad called her last night. :'( Well, I guess it was a blessing in disguise. It's just so sad to hear from someone that a family member passed away.

-Please keep me and my family in your prayers!

Prayers are Needed...PLEASE!

My Grandpa(my dad's dad) has a disease called PSP. It enables him to about everything; eating, going to the bathroom, talking, showering, and more!


My Grandma had a bad stomach bug, kinda like the FLU! It passed onto my Grandpa and now he's in the hospital! His body is too weak to fight it off! His kidneys have stopped working completely, too! Yesterday, my mom informed me that while he was laying in the twin bed, the doctor leaned down to him, face-to-face, and shouted his name. My grandpa didn't even nudge! My mom and dad are worried that he might be entering a coma! Hope that is not true!!!

Yikes!!!

I hope I am not getting sick!

Yesterday Afternoon, My throat got sore, but I thought it might just be dried out! After I took a few sips of good ole' sweet tea, I felt fine! Later on last night at about 9:30 it hit me again, I begged for something to drink. Luckily, my mom had a glass of water nearby. So, I guzzled that down and I was peachy. I was coughing and sniffing with my hand on my neck, so my mom offered to go get me a cough/sore throat drop. She came back up stairs with 'em and I started to suck on 'em. It soothed my throat for about 10-15 minutes. But, by that I had to go to bed.

After a tiring night's rest, I got up and my throat was so dry! So, then I rushed to my mom's room and got another drop.Afterwards, I ate a bowl of cereal and that relaxed my throat for awhile. Right now, It's not as bad as it was last night, but it's not GREAT!

1st Time Blogger

This is my very 1st blog. I will try to keep up with it, but don't hold me against it!!! I've heard it's fun to do, so...I thought I would start. My Mom has already started one...so, I'll be working together with her(Ours may be similar). Eventhough, I am computer savy, she might've learned something new that I haven't. If you'd like to see her blog...it's the 1st and only one one my so called "Blog List".
